In order to provide you the best quality of service, we only use the highest quality pigment inks and archival quality paper. We use Epson Professional Ultra Premium Presentation Paper; Matte finish. To top it all off, we professionally mount a large number of your photographs in special archival quality (non acid) mattes with backing and put it all in our crystal clear packages to protect your treasured photographs.
Professional Equipment:
We use Professional quality studio strobe equipment with very large umbrellas and soft boxes for the softest light possible!
All of our cameras use high quality professional lenses. Even with this, there are limiting factors when shooting large groups of people. The larger the group, the higher the resolution you need. Simply put, your MegaPixels per person decreases too much to retain the fine details. For large group shots, we have the finest image quality that Canon EOS cameras have ever produced! That is 21 Mega Pixels. The camera has a better sensor than the original Canon 1D Mark III that sold for about $10,000. (with lens) 2 years ago. This quality of equipment is required to capture the details in large group shots. That level is considered equal to film resolution. There currently is no visible difference between the images of 21 or 24 Mega Pixels photos. If you desire more information about this, please contact us. Sony forced Canon to give us this great image quality 5 or more years ahead of time. It is not just another new camera, it is a huge jump forward. I look very closely at prints and almost all of them lack this fine detail. The benefit again is for large group prints. The noise reduction and image detail retention is outstanding! We then process your images to further bring out all of the sharpness and to remove distortions as best as possible to make them as natural as possible.
For remote shoot locations, we bring our studio umbrellas to get the softest natural light possible.
All the photos are then processed with our top of the line computers with color calibrated photo monitors in Photoshop CS4/5 utilizing state of the art photo plug-ins for special enhancements plus other specialized software.
Controlling every aspect of the digital capture and processing work flow process is essential to creating high quality fine art photography.
Accordingly, we print in house on professional grade Epson Professional Printers and archival quality Epson paper or via one of the best Custom Print labs in GTA for super large laser prints.
We can print with either the new ``Vivid Magenta`` inks with matte finish (custom fine art papers also with a small premium cost per photo) up to 17 x 44 inches. The choice is yours! Prices are based on using Epson Enhanced Matte Finish. Other papers require a small upgrade fee.
Additional fine art papers like the fabulous Epson Ultra-smooth are also available.
To further this experience, we expertly touch up each portrait to meet your unique needs. This may require and usually does more than half hr per portrait.
